This year, we're going to be bringing the best in craft beer to the people of Wimborne from not one but TWO sites, with a pop-up Butcher's Dog bar located in the brand new Microbreweries stage area just off the Square!
Roll into the New Year 🎲 Vegas style🎲 at The Butcher's Dog! ♣️♦️♠️♥️
We're bringing 'The Strip' to the Street on December 31st and you're all invited; and remember, what happens in Vegas stays in, erm, Wimborne.
Don't gamble on the door, grab your tickets from the bar...!
Tickets are £10 and include midnight bubbles and food.
Sorry, it's over 21s only.
The first band we ever welcomed to The Butcher's Dog, WiffWaff are perfect for our cosy little bar. Gypsyjazz-cum-skiffle-cum-folk, WiffWaff play all sorts in all sorts of ways, swaying through the night with their infectious renditions of songs from times gone by.
Leave the turkey leftovers and saunter into town for some WiffWaff ditties.
Violinist. Rapper. Menace. Mike Dennis!
We are SO pleased to be welcoming Mike back to The Butcher's Dog after his awesome performance at the Folk Festival; we were ranting about his show for weeks afterwards and we've been waiting for his return to Wimborne ever since.
If you haven't had a chance to see Mike in action, watch this TEDx vid and get down to the bar on the 22nd for a real treat. We have no words.
The Two Man Travelling Medicine Show are coming to The Butcher's Dog!
As part of a their Christmas Dorset Extravaganza, TTMTMS will be hitting the Butcher's Dog mid-December, bringing support from very special guest 'Jonny Boxcars' with them.
Not to be missed!
We're marching you through the Christmas period with a whole bunch of wicked music acts and bands, kicking off with 'Hurry Up Harry', a solo ukelele folk singer with sass.
Head to East Street, Wimborne on Saturday 2nd December for our first annual street party!
Independent businesses up and down East Street are coming together to throw a party for our customers, neighbours and the lovely people of Wimborne; we're closing the road for a day of festive fun and family activities and everyone is invited!
More details to follow, watch this space!
This will be our tenth Bottleclub!
Quite simply, the Bottleclub is a monthly social for the craft-beer-curious to get together, try a few beers you might not normally go for, & chat about it with friends old & new!
Adam, owner of The Brew Shack microbrewery in Wimborne, will be co-hosting for the night to bring the brewer's perspective.
Tickets are £15 & include samples of 6 different beers with some accompanying nibbles.
Head to the bar to get your tickets - only 20 places available!
