  • Room hire is currently free! All we politely ask is that your guests arrive thirsty and enjoy our drinks.

  • Our function room is available during our opening hours:

    • Wednesday & Thursday: 4pm – 11pm

    • Friday & Saturday: 12pm – 12am

    • Sunday: 3pm – 9pm

  • The bar and room are licensed for guests aged 21 and over only.

  • The space can accommodate up to 35 people standing. Seating includes seven tables, twenty stools, and a long fixed bench. Furniture can be rearranged to suit your event.

  • Yes! Feel free to decorate with balloons, banners, and other paint-friendly items. Please remove all decorations after your event. Note: table confetti is not allowed as it’s difficult to clean up.

  • We don’t offer in-house catering, but you can bring your own snacks or order from some excellent local options:

    • East Street Deli — quality cheese & charcuterie platters

    • Mango’s — delicious sandwiches & party platters

    • Flaming Peaches — top-notch burgers delivered to the venue (orders for 15+ people)

  • We have a wide selection of craft beers, organic wines, spirits, and cocktails (including a mean Aperol Spritz). We can also set up pre-loaded tabs, hand stamps for free bars, welcome drinks, or custom cocktails. Beer lovers can request buckets or special brews for the night.

  • Yes! We have a Sonos sound system connected to Spotify, so you can play your own playlists or ask us to spin your favourite tracks. There’s also a TV upstairs, perfect for showing photo slideshows or videos — just talk to us about setup beforehand.

  • Yes, there are public car parks within easy walking distance of the venue in central Wimborne.

  • Hired the function space upstairs for my sisters surprise 40th. The staff are really friendly and couldn't do enough to help us with the set up and keep it all a surprise for when she arrived. The function space is great and we hired it for free, enough space for up to 35 , we had 29 people and it wasn't over crowded and that's with tables for food. Booking it was easy and messaging the venue with questions we got super fast friendly responses. It has its own sound system upstairs which was a nice touch to put on Spotify and we could bring our own food and decorations. The bar service was excellent throughout really friendly and up for a laugh you can tell they really enjoy working there and it makes for a really cool atmosphere. The beer is another level! We are a beer drinking family and so were spoilt for choice. Thank you Butchers dog we had an amazing time!

  • Lovely little place. We hired the upstairs room for a surprise 60th birthday and it went perfect. The staff have been great throughout, helping with booking, connecting our own playlists to play and letting us arrange it how we wanted. The ale selection was huge and the staff on the night were fantastic. Thanks to everyone, we will definitely be back!
